…A Significant Health & Medicine Milestone – Our 30th Anniversary!

A big “thank you” to everyone who attended our  November 12th Gala at the Chicago Cultural Center, keynoted by author/commentator, Barbara Ehrenreich.

And congratulations to the evening’s honorees:

HMPRG Co-founder and recognized thought leader in the field of asset-based community development,  John McKnight, (shown at right, with HMPRG Co-founder and Chairman, Quentin Young)

Prevention leader  and founding Board Member, Yolanda “Bobby” Hall (shown center with daughters Toni Henle, left and Nancy Hall Brooks, right)

Margie Schaps, committed policy and advocacy expert and HMPRG’s Executive Director for over 18 years (shown at  left, with HMPRG Board Member, Linda Rae Murray)

It was a wonderful event — and an opportunity not only to break bread and celebrate achievements, but to reaffirm our individual and communal commitment to true health reform.
